The picosecond regime delivers shorter pulses than the Q-switched regime, with a predominantly photomechanical effect on pigment.
What is Picosecond Laser used for?
It is used for resistant pigment, coloured tattoos and situations where a shorter recovery is sought.
How is it measured?
It is measured in pulses and per cm², with the wavelength recorded separately.
How is it personalised?
Wavelength, spot and energy are chosen according to pigment, phototype and the response to previous sessions.
