Consent for photographs and online consultation

What we photograph, why, where the images are kept, who sees them, and how you withdraw consent at any time.

What we photograph

We photograph strictly the area assessed or treated, before the first session, between sessions and after the protocol ends. We do not photograph other areas and we do not record video without a separate request.

Assessment photographs are taken in the centre, with the same light, the same distance and the same angle, so that they can be compared with one another.

Why we photograph

The images are part of the protocol file: they show the starting point, the progression and the moment a parameter needs changing. Without them, judging the result comes down to memory.

A photograph for the internal file and a photograph for publication are two different things, with two separate consents.

Where the images are kept

Images are kept in your file, accessible only to the people involved in your protocol.

Publication in casework

A photograph reaches the website or any other material only if you sign a separate consent, distinct from the treatment consent and from the internal-file consent. Declining does not affect the service you receive in any way.

Published images carry no name, no identifying details and no contextual elements that could identify you. Only the treated area is shown, unless you decide otherwise in writing.

Online consultation

For an online consultation, you send the photographs yourself. We recommend sending only the area you want to discuss and avoiding images that include other people.

An online assessment is preliminary and does not replace a physical assessment. The final recommendation and eligibility are confirmed in the centre.

Special category data

Photographs of skin and information about conditions, medication, pregnancy or breastfeeding may constitute special category data within the meaning of Article 9 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

We process them only on the basis of your explicit written consent, solely for the purposes described here, and we do not use them for profiling or advertising.

How to withdraw consent

You can withdraw your consent at any time, without giving a reason. Withdrawal takes effect for the future: published images are removed from the site and from materials under our control, and images in your file are deleted, within the limits of legal retention obligations.

Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

The data controller and your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority.
